CB Beauty Academy is a Brow, Lash, Beauty Studio and Training Academy located in Whitby, ON. We are accredited experts in our field, and provide small class training to equip students with the best knowledge, products and practical experience to excel in their field. Our Whitby Training Academy holds a maximum of 6 students, as we like to keep classes small for a more hands on learning experience. We also offer on-location training for your salon/spa. Our certification classes are in depth, with a blend of theory, and practical components, to truly prepare students for their learned skill. Classes begin with in depth theory, instructor demonstrations, in some cases written exams, and a practical component (or multiple). We can pin point your strengths and weaknesses and spend time working on exactly what you need most! Everybody learns differently and this option allows us to customize our curriculum to suit your specific needs and ensure you get the most from our Academy. CASSANDRA BRITTON

Cassandra is the Owner of CB Beauty and 14x certified beautician. She specializes in Microblading/Powder Brows, and has adapted a feather V technique to create the most natural looking microbladed brows. She began as a professional makeup artist in 2001, and has expanded into brow specialization and eyelash extensions shortly after. She is a Certified Advanced Microblading Specialist, PhiBrows Removal Artist, 4x Certified Eyelash Extension Technician, Master Certified Volume Eyelash Extension Technician, Accredited NALA (National Association of Lash Artists) Educator, Ontario's Exclusive Hennatician Trainer and Professional Makeup Artist. Her makeup skills specialize in the bridal industry, and she also provides large and private makeup workshops and seminars.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Pre-Requisite: Microblading Technician Certification, + 6 months minimum experience

Machine Brows are the newest form of Permanent Makeup with better pigment retention, a wider range of styles, less pain, and less trauma to the skin. With this course you will learn the styles of Ombre Powder Brows (Shading), and Combination Brows. The majority of this course will focus on the technique and will simply cover a refresher on theory.

Students are asked to bring a model to use for the practical portion of the course; however, CB Beauty can assist if needed with sufficient notice. All practical skill components are conducted under the direct supervision of the instructor.

Certificates are rewarded after successful completion of the theory, practice and practicl components required. Instructors have the right to request additional photos before issuing the certificate if students require more direction. Students must have a working knowledge of the industry, and sufficient experience with Microblading.

The course also includes a fully stocked premium kit, with everything needed to start in your new service with PermaBlend Pigments and all disposable tools. From pigment cups to numbing cream to pigments & needle cartridges, our kits are the best in the industry, covering all necessary tools required for proper setup, completion and aftercare for your clients from Microblade Canada.

Course Length: (2 days)

Day 1:

9:00am – 11:00am: Theory: Needle Sizes & Configurations, Working with PermaBlend, Powder Brow and Combination Brow Technique

11:00am – 12:00pm: Instructor Powder Brow/Shading Demonstration

12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch

1:00pm – 5:00pm: Technique Practice: Powder Brows & Ombre Technique

Day 2:

9:00am – 12:00am: Technique Practice: Combination Brows

12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch

1:00pm – 5:00pm: Student Practical: Live Model (Student required to bring model)
