Cassandra, is the CEO of CB Beauty, and how CB all began 14+ years ago. She graduated from the Canadian Beauty College, from the makeup artistry program, and has been educating and working in the bridal industry dolling up brides ever since. She is available in Toronto, Canada or in Austin, Texas for bookings. She is also a Business Coach, Brand Agent, and our Brow Artist in the salon with services in Toronto or Austin. She favours a natural bridal glow, with a creative eye, & specializes in bridal photo ready looks.

Alannah is one of our Bridal Makeup Artists, and graduated from Complections Makeup Academy in Toronto 11 years ago, and has since been working for MAC Cosmetics, and with multiple theatre shows, including The Lion King.

Michelle is our Master Hairstylist with CB beauty. Michelle has 8 years of experience, graduating from Careers Hair School and is a licensed hair stylist. She works over 25 weekends a year doing bridal hair and up do’s and is also our BLONDE QUEEN when it comes to colour in the studio. She specializes in pearly blondes, but can achieve any look you’re going for, including extensions, cut and treatments.

AIRBRUSH MAKEUP

We offer both traditional and Airbrush Makeup for bridal. Airbrush adds a silky flawless look to the skin, without looking like makeup, & ensures the longest lasting application. It smooths skin for photos, and covers all discolouration and uneven tones in the skin. We can also use to cover tan lines, and tattoos. We can go as natural or dramatic as desired within each application. With our experience and the professional grade products used, the applications will last you ALL day.

FAQs

What Makeup Products Do We Use?

CB Beauty uses only professional grade products on our clients. Our kit consists of mostly MAC and Makeup Forever products; however, we use the best in the industry for different aspects of the application. We also use a 24 hour setting spray, which ensures the application won't smudge, run or disturb throughout your night. The eyeliners and mascara are all highly water and smudge proof. The Makeup Forever products are all HD, and designed to work with the camera and flash to maximize great photos. We will apply a lip colour, but it is recommended that everyone has something to top their lips up with throughout the day.

Do We Apply False Lashes?

Of course! Single use false strip lashes for day of only are available in a wide range from natural to dramatic, depending on the desired results. Lashes are an additional $10/person. They can be kept and reused afterwards if you purchase the DUO glue. We can also provide a mini tutorial for those interested in learning how to remove, store and re- apply their lashes. When applied properly, false lashes will not lift or move for the entire night; however, lash extensions are a great alternative as well.

How Do Trial Services Work?

Trial services are strongly recommended for bridal applications. Trials allow for us to meet, and discuss the details of your wedding in depth. We will complete a mock application, discussing styles and colours until you are truly happy with the result. Trials are also a great idea as most brides find their perfect lip colour, and are able to purchase it in advance for touch-ups throughout the wedding day.
Trials are the same price as your quoted applications for the wedding day, and are scheduled based on our artists availability typically in our studio. Please allow for 1 hour per service for your trial, as we will be having a consultation and experimenting with the makeup and hair look.

How do Services Work on the Wedding Day?

On the wedding day, we will be travelling to your location as our services are available on-site. We will bring our own professional fully stocked and sanitized kit and makeup chair. We need a small working space with natural lighting for makeup, and armless chairs near outlets for hair.
Each application takes approximately 30 - 45 min (less if lashes are not being applied) for makeup and 45 min for hair. If the timing is limited and application number large, with sufficient notice, we can arrange to bring assistants.

In order to secure services, we require a signed copy of your quote, and credit card on file. This can be provided Monday-Friday 9:30-5:30pm. Dates are not held or confirmed until both are on file!
